We create volunteering and learning opportunities that enable people to have a positive stake in society and tackle barriers to community participation.

Social justice is at the heart of what we believe and what we do. Acting both locally and nationally we mobilised over 160,000 volunteers and helped over 10,000 learners develop new skills in 2010/11.

Providing learning opportunities for young people and adults to enhance their education, vocational and life skills and improve their job prospects.

We enable older people from 50 years to share their skills, knowledge and full life experience to benefit communities.

We improve the lives of children and families at risk of neglect or harm through volunteer support and through learning.

We empower disabled people to lead independent lives.

We provide role models for offenders, young people and families with additional needs through mentoring and befriending.

We believe that everyone has a role to play, whatever their age, gender, ability, race, religion or belief. Every day we make a difference.

We will leave no one behind.

Annual Review 2010/11

Our most recent Annual Review (2010/2011) sets out how CSV continues to drive new approaches and use our experience to improve the lives of children and families in need, to enable unemployed young people to get training and skills for employment, and to empower people with disabilities to lead independent lives.
