The UK's leading volunteering and training charity.

CSV provides training and support for schools, colleges, universities, and other education practitioners nationwide in developing volunteering, leadership and active citizenship programmes.
We have over 40 years experience in developing citizenship education and campaigning for citizenship in schools. In 1969 we were instrumental in the decision to add community involvement to the schools curriculum, and in 2002 we helped make sure citizenship was placed on the National Curriculum for every child in England.
Recent projects include whole-school peer mentoring training in anticipation of vertical tutor groups, and supporting schools and teachers to develop student voice and participation.
Half-day sessions start from just £350, and whole day sessions from just £500.
We can create specific training sessions to fit your particular needs. Whole-day sessions can include one programme or two (morning and afternoon).
Our training programmes include student leadership, peer mediation (conflict resolution), team building, Reading skills, and buddying.
All of our courses are delivered at your convenience by our experienced trainers and are tailor-made to meet your needs. Both half day and full day courses are available.
For more information about the training programmes available contact CSV's Peter Seaden Jones by email at pseadenjones@csv.org.uk.
